Supervisor - Marine Terminal
SUPERVISOR: NO ROUTINE, EVERY DAY CHALLENGE - ACTION - LEADERSHIP - OUTSIDE WORK The Supervisor is a full member of the marine terminal management team. He is responsible for managing the loading and unloading operations of the vessels, while supervising the handling of our customers' cargo. ON THE DAILY YOU WILL: Plan the needs in manpower, lifting equipment and heavy machinery (forklifts, wheel loaders, etc.) required for the operations as per the established sequence; Assign tasks and oversee a team of approximately twenty longshoremen (day labourers and machine operators); Coordinate operations and promote teamwork to promote mutual aid and quality service; Enforce standard operating procedures as well as health, safety and environmental standards; Monitor operational performance indicators using advanced technology.
