Voici les principales tâches pour ce poste : Exécuter le travail décrit sur le bon de réparation avec efficacité et précision, selon les normes du concessionnaire et du manufacturier; Assurer l'entretien préventif périodique; Déterminer la cause de toute défectuosité et faire la réparation; Déterminer les défectuosités de l'équipement en se basant sur les plaintes des clients et sa propre inspection; Examiner le véhicule assigné afin de déterminer si des travaux de sécurité et d'entretien additionnels sont nécessaires; Faire l'inspection et l'essai sur route des véhicules nouvellement livrés afin de déceler des dommages évidents ou des éléments manquants et d'apprécier les fonctions de conduite; Avertir le conseiller technique et/ou le contremaître, dans les plus brefs délais, si des travaux additionnels sont requis, si le travail décrit n'est pas nécessaire ou si les réparations ne peuvent pas être faites; Installer l'équipement optionnel demandé par le client ou par le concessionnaire; Identifier les pièces de remplacement dans les livres de pièces pour fin de commande; Se tenir au courant des bulletins techniques du manufacturier; Assurer la propreté et l'ordre dans l'atelier. Entretenir tous les outils et manuels appartenant à la concession et en être responsable; les remettre au bon endroit et dans le même état qu'ils étaient à leur réception. Être à l'affût des règlements fédéraux, provinciaux et municipaux, tel l'élimination des déchets dangereux, etc., les comprendre et les respecter.
