About Us The Shoreline Power Group is a fully integrated Joint Venture of Aecon, United and Atkinsrealis located in Kincardine, Ontario. Shoreline Power Group is the centerpiece of the Major Component Replacement (MCR) program which replaces the main components of 6 reactors at the Bruce Power Nuclear Generating Station. The scope of work includes the removal and replacement of calandria tubes, pressure tubes, and feeders as well as construction management and trade labor. This project is part of Bruce Powers Life Extension Program, which will allow Bruce Powers CANDU units to continue to operate safely through to 2064. Reporting to the Area Manager or designate, the Junior Project Coordinator co-op is a 8-16 month contract. They are a highly motivated self-starter who will support the Bruce Power Fuel Channel and Feeder Replacement project. What is the Opportunity? Assist in the development and maintenance of Comprehensive Work Package in cooperation with construction and engineering. Ensure compliance with all requirements for fabrication, installation, construction of modifications including those in CSA N286.3 and CAN/CSA-N285.06 Identify, report, and secure approval for deviations from the design documents as they occur and before release to construction. Provide assurance that construction activities are performed in accordance with written and approved policy, standards, programs, and applicable procedures. Provide and ensure effectiveness of the liaison function between field trades and design engineers for problem resolution and information flow. Establish and maintain interfaces with other internal groups, subcontractors and suppliers supporting the project. Develop and write detailed work plans in cooperation with construction leads. Maintain high standards related to final product quality. What You Bring to the Table: 3rd or 4th year Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil/Structural) or 2nd year Technology Program (Mechanical, Automation, Electrical). Minimum GPA of 3.0. Excellent interpersonal, communication (both oral and written) skills. Strong Interpersonal skills in communicating with a large team. Organizational and time management skills. Ability to prioritize and multi-task/ Service orientated. Thrive on a fast paced-environment. Project Qualifications: Due to the nature of work conducted by Shoreline, mandated nuclear export controls requirements must be met for employment. Sr. Design Coordinator - Track
Who We Are? ONxpress Transportation Partners (ONxpress) were chosen by Metrolinx and Infrastructure Ontario (IO) to enter the Development Phase of the On-Corridor Works project the largest project in Metrolinxs GO Rail Expansion program. Unprecedented in its scale and complexity, this multi-billion-dollar capital program will transform the GO regional rail network with electrification, more frequent service, shorter journey times and a more modernized system for the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Region. What youll do here: Planning, organizing, and overseeing the work of a track design. Lead Design complex track arrangements including special trackwork, maintenance and facility yards, embedded and direct fixation, along with conventional ballasted track systems. Prepare and monitor scopes of work and methodologies, design reviews, scheduling, and presenting. Coordinate with external stakeholders (e.g., municipalities, transit authorities, government agencies, and property owners) on resolution of design issues, timelines, deliverables, changes and other issues impacting project progress, quality, cost, and safety. Provide administrative, design, editing, technical, estimating, and priority direction to staff and personnel assigned to individual projects, through all project stages. Oversee and execute quality review process for submittals. All other duties as required. What You Bring to the Team: Registration as a Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario is an asset. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an asset. A minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in Track Design. Experience in the design, construction and operation of rail and rail track related works. Knowledge and experience with AREMA, Canadian Rail Operating Rules and applicable standards. Proficient in rail and guideway design including associated civil infrastructure and grading. Ability to work as part of a multi-discipline team. Areas of responsibility include ICU E/S, providing specialized care to the neurosciences, trauma, medical, vascular, and surgical patient populations; ICU W - CV surgical unit; CCU; Regional Burn Unit; HIU; and Emergency. In addition to supporting these specialized units the Respiratory Therapy department addresses the respiratory needs of patients throughout the General site. Select members of the Respiratory Therapy department in collaboration with the physician operate the Hyperbaric Unit meeting both scheduled and emergent hyperbaric needs. Select members of the Respiratory Therapy department partner with physicians and RN's as members of the site RACE team. The RRT is also a key member of the Code Blue team.
