Experienced korean assistant accountant

Main functions: 
Main Duties:
Implement efficient working processes and co-ordinate, assign and review the clerks engaged using the work flow analysis software in the following duties: administering accounts payable and receivable; analyze work flow of the processing, verifying and recording financial documents and forms; administering payrolls; and collecting user fees and payments on overdue accounts
Examine and verify accuracy of work and authorize routine payments, credits and other transactions
Establish and assign work schedules and procedures and co-ordinate activities with other work units
Resolve work-related problems and prepare and submit progress work flow and other reports
Identify training needs and train workers in job duties and company policies
Maintain smooth operation of computerized accounting systems, equipment and specialized work-flow software, and arrange for maintenance and repair of the system
Assist clients for business set-up
Assist cases related to Korean Tax Regulations and Canada-Korea Tax convention
Assist cases related to Social Security Agreement with Canada and Korea
Assist cases related to International Withholding Tax requirements
Fully understand transferring tax pricing of foreign entity and its Canadian subsidiary and vice versa
Assist cases related to Korean expatriate’s taxation issues in Canada
Assist cases related to voluntary discourse program (VDP) of foreign assets and foreign incomes to CRA and Revenue Quebec, and its implication of the VDP to the taxpayers
Handle TaxPrep’s corporation and personal software, Quickbook and Quickbook online, and Receipt bank software with hand-on experience.
Effectively communicate with Korean expatriates in Canada.

Working experience
Qualifications required: 
Experience in the clerical occupation supervised is required
Familiar with Korean Tax Regulations and Canada-Korea Tax convention, Social Security Agreement with Canada and Korea, International Withholding Tax requirements, Korean expatriate’s taxation issues in Canada
Excellent communication skills with Korean expatriates in Canada
