SEEKING: Digital/web Graphic Designer
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Full-time (30-40hr/week), Day/Flexible hours
Rate: $20-$24.5 (To be negotiated)
Location: 308-200 Consumers Rd, North York ON, M2J4R4
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Design original materials for print and online for Chinese New Star Media, including, but not limited to, banners, posters, logos, ads, flyers, web pages, social media images, etc.
• Use existing photo and illustration banks and typography guides
• Consult with clients to review project briefs and discuss publicity strategies to establish the overall look, graphic elements and content of communications materials
• Create good visual experience for our online users through designing and updating graphics on website and mobile app.
• Collaborate with web developers, copywriters, and content teams to convert marketing requirements into highly engaging and compelling design concepts.
• Work efficiently to create high-quality work within a specific deadline and to ensure design integrity and brand alignment across all touch points.
• Co-ordinate all aspects of production for print, audio-visual or electronic materials, Co-ordinate sub-contracting
• Tracking performance and reporting to the Chief Editor.
Requirements:
• Minimum three years of work experience in graphic design
• A bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field
• Knowledge and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
• Knowledge and experience with audio-visual graphic design skills
• Experience in different social media and HTML
• Excellent creative thinking and communication skills including computer illustration skills
