Primary Job Duties:

● Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of the restaurant, bar, cafeteria or other food or beverage service
● Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance
● Control inventory, monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices
● Hire, train, and coach staff members on customer service skills, food & beverage knowledge, and health & safety standards
● Negotiate and control viable cost with suppliers for food and other supplies, reduce inventory waste
● Negotiate arrangements with clients for catering or use of facilities for banquets or receptions
● Increased customer engagement on company's social media accounts
● Work with other Ye’s sushi restaurants for brand management and marketing events
● Design new menus and other featured items to attract new customers for special festivals and occasions

● Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration; hospitality management or culinary schooling is a plus, or equivalent experience will be considered

Working experience
Minimum experience required: 
3 years
Qualifications required: 
● 3+ years professional experience in food service sector, restaurant management experience is required
● Strong team building and communication skills, experience coaching new staff and be able to unite the workforce as one group
● Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes
● Familiarity with restaurant management software, for example, OpenTable
● Food or beverage service certification is required, or working towards the certification
● Proven record of improving restaurant operation efficiency and increasing restaurant gross revenue will be highly preferred
● Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate staff, allocate tasks and resources properly to improve operational efficiency
● Experience in marketing campaigns to promote restaurant revenue will be considered asset
● Exposure to Asian food, cuisine and culture will be considered asset
● Willing to travel
