Purpose Is responsible for their health and safety as well as others. Will correct or report unsafe practices or conditions. Maintains a safe and healthy place to work. Make suggestions to improve any aspect of safety and correct issues wherever possible. Will understand and follow Newmont policies and procedures as outlined in the FRM handbook. Learns and follows the safety rules and procedures for safe performance of the job. Essential Duties Must be able to operate utility vehicles to deliver crews to workplaces Must be able to operate boom truck Must perform general housekeeping Must have lifting, rigging, hoisting course Deliver supplies and materials including explosives Perform audits as required Other duties as assigned by the Frontline Supervisor Training & Experience High School Diploma Minimum of (12) months mining experience Fall arrest training Heavy machinery experience an asset Underground Common Core Certificate U0013 Operate Lifting Mechanism(s) U0024 Operate Utility Vehicle Working Conditions This job is located at Hoyle Pond, part of Newmont's Porcupine mine site near Timmins, ON.
