The Opportunity

Accountable/responsible for ensuring all service calls are addressed in a timely and effective manner; supervise available parts reps, technicians and resources to maximize productivity and proficiency to meet targets.

The Role

  • Responsible for day-to-day support of the business of Parts & Service sales to customers
  • Executes initiatives that contribute to long-term operational excellence and maximizes efficiencies including service, warranty programs and parts operations at the branch
  • Supervise Parts Reps and Service Technicians to ensure repair profit margin performance and customer service are met
  • Provide coaching and training for all Parts Reps and Service Technicians
  • Work with customers, suppliers and co-workers to fulfill parts & service orders and inquiries within service and cost expectations.

The Candidate

Education: Post-secondary degree or diploma in Commerce, general business or other related discipline. Skilled trade certification considered on asset

Work Experience: 2-4 years of relevant work experience. Previous experience in the automotive, truck or mobile equipment service industry considered an asset. Qualified technician or Journeyman is an asset.

Knowledge: Experience working with equipment repairs, trouble shooting and generating quote labour hours

Proficiency: Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
