Job Responsibilities:
• Help in training other employees;
• Read and analyze data and results while also preparing reports;
• Conduct and supervise a small team and operational programs such the function of maintaining efficiency in the lab, audits and ensuring the clients’ needs are met by the lab;
• Set up and conduct biological, microbiological and biochemical tests and laboratory analyses in support of quality control in food production and other food testing fields;
• Apply and use methods and techniques such as microscopy, PCR, ELISA, FDA and USDA and SCC regulated testing;
• Conduct environmental monitoring in a lab environment
• Must demonstrate and practice good sterile/aseptic techniques in the laboratory.
