Senior Manager, Intelligent Automation

The objective of the Intelligent Automation (IA) practice is to help our clients unlock value leveraging a suite of emerging technologies, such as Process Mining, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), APIs, Low-Code/No-Code, Intelligent Document Processing and Machine Learning solutions. As part of the IA practice you will assist our clients throughout their automation journey, from opportunity identification and initial roadmap to scaled automation operations leveraging the best of breed technologies.

The IA Manager will be exposed to all components of the practice, while continuously learning about the latest intelligent automation technologies. The selected candidate will be part of a national practice and will likely travel across Canada on an as-needed basis, working across a spectrum of different industries.

 


What you will do

  • Guide your clients through the consideration of complex technology transformations to help clients build, transform and operationalize intelligent automation capabilities into the new breed of customer experience-based business models
  • Interact with business leaders and functional experts to understand current and future business challenges and needs and develop long lasting client relationships
  • Assist clients define and embed intelligent automation strategies, roadmaps and business cases
  • Understand and evaluate business processes to enable successful translation of business automation needs to intelligent automation solution designs
  • Define structures, policies, processes and metrics to assess organizational gains for intelligent automation
  • Lead the delivery of multiple client projects ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery of quality work that meets client requirements and expectations.
  • Manage highly skilled KPMG and client teams throughout the daily execution of intelligent automation projects
  • Participate in the continual development and publication of intelligent automation related thought leadership and service offerings
  • Manage, mentor, and train senior consultants and managers in developing skills and applying methodologies. Direct both onshore and offshore resources occasionally.
  • Contribute to the development of thought leadership in support of national practice development and growth. 

What you bring to the role

  • 7+ years of experience of advising, scoping and delivering innovative technologies and other transformation initiatives services within multiple industries.
  • Hands on experience with features and functionalities of Intelligent Automation (IA) technologies.
  • Experience working in a client facing role with strong relationship management skills and proven business development capability.
  • Experience identifying a client's high-level business needs and leading the creation of detailed functional specs and other documentation, such as requirement traceability matrices, work-flow diagrams and use-cases.
  • Experienced in designing and/or delivering automation centers of excellence (CoE)
  • Passion for and commercial experience in some emerging technology trends e.g. Process Mining, RPA, AI, ML, NLP, Mobility, Cloud, Blockchain, Security, Digital, Collaboration Tools, Application Modernization, etc...
  • Highly strategic with advanced analytics skill set.
  • Proven ability to think creatively, holistically, and to problem solve.
  • Can clearly and articulately identify and define problems and develop creative solutions to address client requirements.
  • Proven project management success with strong track record on-time, on-budget and to-specification delivery of projects.
  • Superior written communication skills with strong report and proposal development experience (English a must, French a strong asset).
  • Team leadership capabilities with a drive to work closely in a collaborative team environment, lead teams and manage project deliverables.
