Our public sector client requires an Enhanced Reliability Cleared Senior Technology Architect to support the modernization projects as well as the maintenance of its legacy systems in the public sector.

Responsibilities:

a. Develop and manage technology roadmaps for current and future systems.
b. Develop technical architectures, frameworks and strategies, either for an organization or for a major application area, to meet the business and application requirements.
c. Conduct research on emerging technologies in support of infrastructure development efforts and recommend technologies that will increase cost effectiveness and infrastructure flexibility.
d. Identify the policies and requirements that drive out a particular solution.
e. Evaluate specifications for system requirements and determine and implement the most efficient and cost-effective software solutions.
f. Ensure the integration of all aspects of technology solutions.
g. Monitor industry trends to ensure that solutions fit with government and industry directions for technology.
h. Perform impact analysis of technology changes.
i. Provide support to applications and/or technical support teams in the proper application of existing infrastructure.
j. Review application and program design or technical infrastructure design to ensure adherence to standards and to recommend performance improvements.
k. Assist in the development of proof-of-concept prototypes to evaluate evolving products and technologies
l. Manage designs for multiple projects/sprints concurrently throughout the project life cycle.

Must Have:

• Experience developing technical architectures, frameworks and strategies to meet the business and application requirements.
• Experience developing or enhancing a GCIMS
• Experience leading an options analysis for public facing portal technology.
• Experience supporting Cloud Application Platforms

Nice to Have:

• Government experience
