Our client, a company in operation for more than two decades already located on the South Shore of Montreal, is a leader in building industrial equipment, more specifically in the field of pumps. They are currently looking for a mechanical assistant to support their team in their plant in Candiac.

The tasks consist of:

• Identifying the causes of defects in the company product.
• Preparing, cleaning and inspecting mechanical parts.
• Carrying out general repairs.
• Carrying out general machining on a conventional milling machine/lathe.
• Carrying out modifications/adjustments to the truck, if necessary, related to the pump system.
• Assembling equipment according to plans.
• Doing repairs at customer locations.
• Applying occupational health and safety rules.
• Carrying out any other tasks required by the supervisor.

Requirements:

• DVS in Industrial Mechanics or a related field (asset).
• Experience driving a forklift (asset).
• Experience in the field of pumps (asset).
• Experience in industrial environments (asset).
• Ability to speak French.
• Basic mechanical knowledge.
• Attention to detail.
