We are seeking an Emergency Nurse to join our high functioning and supportive Emergency team at Penticton Regional Hospital. We are looking for someone who brings effective problem solving skills, is highly motivated, and can work well in a team environment.
**Due to Collective Agreement pay-scale adjustments, effective Feb 1, 2019, the pay scale is now $34.15 - $44.83**
Our Emergency Department receives 36,000+ patient visits per year, operates 24/7 and has 13 stretchers and 14 chairs for treating patients. The staffing complement consists of a Patient Care Coordinator, RNs, a LPN, and Unit Clerk. The RNs work 12-hour shifts and we operate the High Acuity Response Team for the South Okanagan Region which is a great opportunity for anyone looking to expand their scope of nursing practice.
Penticton Regional Hospital (PRH) is a referral centre for three community hospitals and one diagnostic centre in the South Okanagan. We have an operating capacity of 129 acute beds and 102 extended care beds and offer a full range of services.

Graduation as a Registered Nurse from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the
British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP).
Advanced preparation in an Emergency clinical specialty or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) within 3 years.
ACLS and/or TNCC would be an asset.
