One of the most highly reputable electrical contractors in the lower mainland is urgently looking to hire Project Coordinators to their growing team.

About our client:

For more than 50 years, our client has provided clients and customers in the lower mainland with the highest level of customer service. They are focused mainly in the residential and commercial sectors but manage a wide variety of small to large complex and highly reputable projects. Their business has experienced year over year growth and are in need of passionate and hard working Project Coordinators to manage the constant flow of projects coming in.

They provide their team members with the guidance, support and resources to be successful in their roles so that they become high performing team members. About the position:

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the Project coordinators will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Collaborate with project managers and foreman to review project documents and electrical drawings.
  • Assist in material purchasing and logistics to ensure uninterrupted project flow.
  • Review construction drawings and specifications, city and building codes and permits.
  • Coordinate and resolve design issues, change orders, material and equipment defects.
  • Create reports and plans to be reviewed by Project Managers.
  • Act as the main point of contact for vendors, foreman, clients and general contractors.
  • Project close out: ensure all documents are filed and organised correctly for quick access.
  • Coordinate with cross divisional teams within the company to ensure projects are on schedule for all deadlines.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a project coordinating or administration positions within the construction/electrical contracting industry.
  • Degree in a related field.
  • Experience with Microsoft applications.
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, schematics and field plans.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Able to travel to project sites and conduct project meetings and presentations.


  • Salary: $65,000-$75,000/year depending on experience.
  • 2 weeks vacation to start.
