Develops a comprehensive shared patient/client plan, in collaboration with the interprofessional team, primary care provided, client and/or family, other healthcare providers and/or referring clinics; facilitates and supports the transition of the client care plan to the referring source, primary/community care provider and/or community agencies. Liaises with nutrition staff from other agencies to ensure that complex nutrition needs of clients are appropriate and can be safely carried out by Home Health and/or Primary & Community Care staff or caregivers in community settings. Liaises and refers clients/families and staff to appropriate community resources. Collaborates with other members of the Home Health and/or Primary & Community Care team to provide orientation and information to new staff. Participates in research activities regarding nutrition and nutrition-related issues in the community setting as required. Maintains professional practice growth, knowledge and expertise to reflect current standards of practice by reviewing relevant literature, attending educational workshops and in-services, consulting and networking with other health care professionals. Performs other related job duties as required. Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics plus completion of a community nutrition or dietetics internship in an accredited program or one year graduate study in nutrition and dietetics. Two years of recent related experience in a community or related setting. Current membership with the College of Dietitions of BC and eligibility for membership with the College of Dietitions of Canada. Valid BC Driver's Licence. Demonstrated ability to complete initial and ongoing client assessments and provide care through therapeutic interventions. Demonstrated ability to integrate and evaluate pertinent data from multiple sources to problem-solve effectively. Knowledge of clinical practice specific to community-based nutrition care for adults. Position Summary We have exciting casual opportunities for experienced Registered Nurses or Registered Psychiatric Nurses to join our Mental Health & Substance Use (MHSU) Injectable Opioid Agonist Treatment (iOAT) team in Kelowna, B.C. About this location/unit This position will support iOAT (injectable opioid agonist treatment) services in Kelowna. iOAT is an evidence based treatment intervention for people with severe opioid use disorder (OUD) who have been refractory to treatment with oral opioid agonist therapy (OAT). Injectable treatment has been demonstrated to have increased retention to care, decrease in illicit opioid use, and increased quality of life. It is part of the continuum of care when treating people with OUD. What will you work on? The Registered Nurse functions as a member of the larger Hospitals & Communities Integrated Services (HCIS) or Tertiary Mental Health Services care team and as a member of a designated multi-disciplinary team whose purpose is to ensure that persons with serious severe and persistent mental health problems, and/or problematic substance use and/or development disability issues who may or may not be in crisis have access to timely, responsive, evidence based treatment and clinical supports across the continuum of available services. You will collaborate with the Solution Architect to validate the technical implementation of new concepts, develop new or fix existing functionality, and perform the code review. Ensure quality. The technical knowledge. You have 5+ years of professional experience in software development, working across the SDLC in an Agile environment. You have: Proficiency with C#, database and development with SQL Server. Familiarity with enterprise architecture principles and best practices, software architecture, coding patterns. Comfort using AWS, microservices, event-driven architecture. An understanding of enterprise architecture principles and best practice. Experience with open source development and community contribution through GitHub, networking, technical blogging, etc. The interpersonal skills. You can build trust and influence without authority. You are a great team player who thrives in a collaborative environment, working cross-functionally with Product, DevOps, infrastructure, and Executive leaders. You have effective and flexible communication skills and can comfortably explain complex problems and technical solutions to a range of audiences. The education. You may have a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field, but we know not everyone gains their skills through traditional academic training. ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER ABOUT OUR STORE: PetSmart is a retailer unlike any other; we don't just sell products, we provide solutions that foster happy and healthy homes for pets and pet parents. Our Assistant Store Manager lead the operations through that lens and oversee all aspects of our retail store-from head to tail!
