Pet Groomer Trainee
PET GROOMER TRAINEE YOUR GROOMING CAREER: Start your career in grooming as a Groomer Trainee! As a Groomer Trainee in our Grooming Salon, you'll have the opportunity to build personal relationships with your clients each time they visit and truly become a part of their family. You'll get to know their pets' styles and personalities to create a customized, stylish experience just for them! From that first shampoo to that final strut home, you'll take pride in the services you provide! GROOMED FOR GREATNESS: You bring the passion and we'll bring the training. Petsmart offers a training program that will set you up for success. Stage 1-- Bather: Jump start your education by getting hands-on experience with our pets. These pets become our own pets while they are in our care, so our number one priority is to get safety certified. Under the guidance of the salon leader, you'll begin your training as a bather and learn about different dog breeds and styling. You'll help to get the dogs comfortable in our salon and spend time bathing them, trimming their nails and providing support to groomers throughout the pet's stay. Stage 2-- Grooming Academy: After getting some experience under your belt (well, smock!), you'll attend our Grooming Academy! You'll have 4 weeks in a classroom environment, gaining insights from our experienced Academy Trainers. You'll dive in deeper into breed styling, caring for different dog breeds, and get comfortable with tools and clippers. As an added bonus, at graduation, you'll receive a free tool kit worth over $600! Stage 3- Groomer Trainee: You'll put your brand-new education and fancy new tool kit to work when you head back to our salon. With the leadership and oversight of experienced groomers, you'll begin to groom all different breeds and sizes of dogs. We have a target of 200 dogs to ensure you get the experience and diversity you need. Stage 4- Pet Stylist in Training: Now it's time for you to really hone your skill set. You'll build relationships with your own clients, advise on styles, suggest new services and share in the joy that comes with a client picking up their freshly coiffed pet. In accordance with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP) standards of practice and the Mission and Values of Fraser Health, and working collaboratively with the inter-professional care team in the provision of person-centered care, provides direct individualized nursing care in an outpatient setting to outpatients with varying complexities of illness requiring minor surgical procedures, diagnostic endoscopy procedures or interventional therapeutic endoscopic procedures. Assesses, plans, provides and evaluates nursing care and provides discharge teaching for patients (adults and children). Assesses patients and collects information from a variety of sources using skills of observation, communication, data review and physical assessment. Clinical Extern Paramedic
The Clinical Extern is an integral member of the healthcare team, as an unregulated care provider, in the Emergency Departments at HHS. As part of the interprofessional healthcare team, the Clinical Extern will support high quality care for patients and families, while demonstrating a commitment to excellence in supporting the patient and family experience. AVANTAGES : - Salaires concurrentiels selon l'expérience - Éventail d'avantages sociaux concurrentiel - Possibilités d'avancement dans l'entreprise - Formation rémunérée RESPONSABILITÉS SPÉCIFIQUES : - Connaître et préparer les différentes coupes de viandes selon les normes et standards Super C. - Appliquer les standards de mise en marché (rotation des produits, suivis des dates de péremption, emballage aux besoins, etc.) et de gestion des stocks. - Connaître et appliquer les normes de sanitation: hygiène, salubrité, santé et sécurité au sein du département. - Répondre aux besoins et demandes de la clientèle, avec efficacité et courtoisie. - Appliquer les standards de l'aménagement et de l'entretien des réfrigérateurs en arrière-marché. - Entretien et nettoyage de la zone de travail et de la machinerie du département, au besoin. - Collabore au maintien du service à la clientèle du magasin. - Toute autre tâche connexe demandée par son supérieur immédiat. CRITÈRES D'ADMISIBILITÉ : - 6 mois à 1 an d'expérience dans un poste similaire - Disponibilité pour le travail de jour, soir (semaine et fin de semaine) - Avoir réussi un cours accrédité à titre de boucher ou avoir suivi une formation interne en entreprise COMPÉTENCES RECHERCHÉES : - Aptitude courtoise et polie en tout temps - Capacité à tirer, pousser, soulever des charges et manipuler la marchandise - Apte à travailler dans un environnement froid - Connaître et appliquer les normes de santé et sécurité au travail en tout temps Metro valorise, respecte et mise sur les différences et les compétences de ses employés provenant de tous les horizons.
