Inside Sales Representative

Poka is seeking an inside sales representative to join our demand generation team. Reporting into the VP Sales, you will be the critical first point of contact for our potential clients and will be responsible for building and nurturing the top of the salfunnel.

Key responsibilities

  • Generate sales qualified leads (SQLs) within assigned territory
  • Qualify early stage opportunities and capture details in CRM
  • Understand business priorities of prospects and fit with Poka offerings
  • Schedule and participate in hand-off meetings with Account Executives ensuring a seamless experience and maximum efficiency
  • Demonstrate Poka via web conference and answer preliminary product and implementation question
  • Nurture early-stage, 'book of business' leads, scheduling tasks for future follow up
  • Compel a sense of urgency in client to prioritize moving forward
  • Maintain cleanliness of lead queue within assigned territory
  • Respond promptly to incoming inquiries and inbound leads
  • Proactively reach out to and secure meetings with a target list of identified prospects
  • Manage tier 3 accounts through to close

  • 2-5 years of sales experience in a B2B (ideally software) environment
  • Bachelor's in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Clear communicator and excellent active listening skills
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed determined sales and activity targets
  • Strong ability to multitask, organize and manage priorities
  • A competitive team player

Extra assets

  • Experience using Salesforce, Mac OS X and iOS, ZoomInfo
  • Knowledge of the Manufacturing industry
  • Solution selling acumen
  • French and other languages
  • Experience with SaaS
  • Experience or certification in Customer-centric and/or SPIN selling
