To comply with all relevant Provincial and Federal Acts and Regulations. To assist the Executive Director with budget preparation for the Memory Care unit. To establish and maintain relationships with key external agencies and support network stakeholders to facilitate quality services to residents and families. Key Responsibilities - To assist in the collection and sorting of soiled personal clothing and linens and pre- treat stains as required; - To load and unload washers and dryers ensuring that proper settings are used and that chemical supplies are at an appropriate level; - To inspect soiled linens or personal laundry and complete any required repairs, e.g. rips, tears, buttons; - To fold , segregate and stack linens and residents' clothing and ironing as required; - To deliver linens and clothing to appropriate areas; - To adhere to established facility policies and procedures, including safety rules and safe working practices; - To complete documentation as required according to facility policy/job routines; - To be aware of the Resident Rights & Responsibilities and endeavor to respect and promote it; - To attend in-service training as required in order to better serve the needs of the residents; - To attend staff meetings as required to be aware of changes in Residence that have taken place; - To participate in the Quality Improvement Program; - To work in a position of trust with vulnerable adults (residents) - To uphold and promote the organization's values and philosophy relating particularly to ethics, morality, and integrity as set out in Revera's Code of Conduct - To complete other duties as assigned. Qualifications - Strong oral and written English communication skills - Knowledge/experience in commercial laundry procedures and ability to meet physical requirements of the job - Ability to follow instructions and provide feedback on a day to day basis - Must be familiar with standard sewing and mending techniques - Demonstrated knowledge of proper linen care and stain removal - Proficiency in a second language is an asset - Must provide a complete and current (within six months) Vulnerable Sector Check (including a Criminal Background Check) or be willing to obtain one. Summary: Reporting to the Regional Clinical Manager, you will be providing counselling services for Morneau Shepell's Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Responsibilities: ?Provide support for mandated clients that are employer referrals dealing with various personal issues that may or may not be work-related; ?Ensure high quality of counselling activities through supervision, peer consultation, performance appraisals, staff meetings, providing educational opportunities, client user survey feedback, audits and addressing incident reports. ?Evaluate client needs and work with them to set objectives and develop a strategy to achieve them, within the terms and conditions of the client's EAP; ?Ability to work with workplace behavioural issues such as anger management, communications skills, substance use, trauma, depression, anxiety and return to work support for employees ?Manage the administrative requirements as dictated by Morneau Shepell's clinical models. ?Ability to write clear and consise reports with strong adherence to deadlines Succeeding as a Psychologist will require the following core qualifications and skills: ?A PhD in Psychology, registration with the College of Ontario Psychologists; ?A minimum of 5 yrs of post-Master's clinical experience; ?A minimum of 2-3 yrs of supervisory/management experience; ?Ability to set short term objectives and use a solution focused approach; ?Ability to clinically manage high-risk cases, including clients who are a threat to self or others; ?Ability to work with individuals, couples and families and good knowledge of community resources; ?EAP industry experience is an asset; ?Excellent verbal and written communication skills with excellent time-management and organizational skills; Job Grade: MS4 Fulfilling work that matters Morneau Shepell is in the business of helping organizations help their people and in the process, we strive to elevate ours.
