Main functions: 
Primary Job Duties:
• Assist in formulating and implementing Food Safety standards for all the restaurants and promoting a culture of quality food handling & processing
• In charge of raw material (meat, rice, seafood, etc.) quality control in warehouse storage, ensuring good quality before going to the kitchen
• Lead and coordinate temperature-control transportation logistics for raw materials and foods among warehouses, restaurants and customers to maintain the highest quality of products
• Conduct routine pre-operational inspection duties to assure compliance of kitchen staff to sanitation standards, maintain the highest possible housekeeping standards to prevent microbial contamination
• Responsible for raw material importation documentation preparation, Halal certification application, and regulatory compliance paperwork
• Maintain complete and accurate records of all quality control procedures and test for internal and external audits
• Maintain and update the master information database for all raw materials and ingredients in quality control software for reference
• Responsible for taking care of food quality complaints, initiating and coordinating internal investigations and providing resolutions

To ensure both customer’s flavour buds and food safety are taken care of, we are looking for a quality control technician to be on-site to supervise our food processing staff as well as control the overall environment to avoid risk factors.

Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Food Science, Chemistry or related fields.

Working experience
Minimum experience required: 
3 years
Qualifications required: 
3+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance/Control and experience in food processing/manufacturing is required.
Exposure to the warehouse, logistics, and raw material transportation management would be an asset.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.
Must be proficient with computer software including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel, and knowledge of quality control software such as Sage and SAP.
Exceptional time management and organizational skills, self-starter with a high level of initiative and adaptability.
Strong analytical skills with problem-identification and problem-solving capabilities to assist with internal and external audits.
Excellent communication skills essential for dealing with suppliers, customers, and company personnel.
Willing to travel as required.
