Bayview Paints & Décor Inc. is a retail company established in 2016. We are an authorized retailer for Benjamin Moore painting products. We have more than 15 years of experience in the paint industry. Our main store is located at 8750 Bayview Ave, Unit 16, Richmond Hill, ON, L4B 4V9. Our store professionals are trained specialists whose experience and helpful advice will ensure the success of every project. We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team.
SEEKING:
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Full-time (30-40hr/week)
Rate: $33-36/hr based on experience
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Lead and motivate the team to reach store monthly/yearly target;
• Manage budget, monitor revenues and expenses;
• Review products from head office’s supply and determine merchandise and service to be sold, adjust product prices;
• Review promotion flyers and determine products for sales;
• Understand market trends to identify opportunities and develop effective action plans to improve sales strategies;
• Managing staff, set schedules and assign duties;
• Communicate with customers and provide advice about products selection;
• Resolve problems that arise, such as supply shortages and customer complaints;
Requirements:
• A college diploma is required, referred in the following majors: Chemistry, Fine Arts, small business administration or management and sales/marketing.
• Minimum 5 years of store managing experience;
• Knowledge and experience in the following area: paint, design, construction and renovation materials.
