As the Pharmacy Assistant you will work in accordance with established vision and values of the organization and under the close supervision of a Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician to assist with various aspects of the Pharmacy Department Operations. This includes packaging and distribution of unit dose medications, as well as specified inventory control and statistical reporting activities and other related clerical functions. SOME TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ? Answers telephones, responding to routine inquiries, re-directing calls and/or taking messages in accordance with the established procedures. Performs other related clerical functions. ? Fills requisitions for and delivers wardstock medications to Nursing Units in accordance with established procedures; maintains records of all transactions. ? Pre-packages unit dose medications by operating the Automatic Tablet Counting/Packaging Machine. Cleans and maintains the Automatic Tablet Counting machine by refilling tablet canisters, replacing printer ribbons and replenishing paper supplies as required. ? Performs other related duties as assigned. Casual shift coverage may be needed for any time between 0700-2300 hours, seven days per week. Our project: We are developing transcranial ultrasound imaging clinical prototypes aimed at the diagnosis of traumatic brain injury. The goal of the project is to develop an ultrasound imaging system capable of producing a 3D montage image of the brain. This study is being funded by the United States Army Medical Materiel Agency through a subcontract with an external sponsor. The position: The Research Programmer in our team is responsible for implementing software and firmware updates to ultrasound imaging prototypes. The successful applicant will have a strong programming educational (or equivalent) background, be competent in C++, C# and visual studio. They will be able to understand and debug legacy code, and implement software upgrades as the team develops new imaging algorithms. The applicant must be comfortable interfacing hardware and software. The Research Programmer will be responsible for software documentation, software version control, and translating software from Matlab to C++, C# and CUDA. They will be responsible for verifying and validating software changes. They will also be responsible for implementing and testing future design input changes in the implementation of hardware SDK. Specific responsibilities include: Implement software and firmware upgrades in medical device prototypes Develop and perform V&V testing of prototype software and firmware Interfacing software for real time control of hardware Development of a clinical user interface to comply with FDA guidelines Participating in the preparation of figures and material for grants and publications Document testing procedures and ensure rigorous UA / QA testing to comply with FDA regulations for software in medical devices Software documentation Collaborate with designated personnel to develop various Computer Systems Validation (CSV) documents per FDA guidance (General Principles of Software Validation), including but not limited to Requirements Specifications, Validation/Test Plan, Testing (across all phases of Development), Integration Test Scripts, Operational/System Test Scripts, Validation Summary Reports Ensure completeness and accuracy of software validation records Work with team to manage development of integrated system Qualifications Required background: Degree or certificate in Programming, Computer Science or Engineering (Software, Computer) with strong work experience developing and deploying software.
