Principales fonctions: 
Prospective Care Providers should:
** Be comfortable working individually and as part of a multi-disciplinary team of professionals
** Have a minimum of one year experience working with individuals with disabilities
** Have a minimum of one year of medical experience (i.e. care aide, nursing, community support work, social work, etc.)
** Experience working with an individual with difficult/challenging behaviours is an asset
** Educational certificates in the following are also an asset: nursing, social work, care aide, community/personal support work, etc.

Are you a compassionate person? Do you have a ground level/wheelchair accessible suite and want to make a difference in someone's life? Do you have skills or experience working with individuals with disabilities? Would you like to earn between $3000-$4000 per month to work from home or as an additional income? If the answer is yes to all or some of these questions, then this is a great opportunity for you.

We are a large non profit organization that provides services to adults with developmental disabilities, acquired brain injuries, and mental health issues. We are currently seeking seeking individuals, couples and families to welcome an individual with a disability into their home. Home sharing involves assisting individuals with their everyday lives in a holistic manner WITHIN YOUR OWN HOME.

We currently have a high demand for ground level/wheelchair accessible suites with accessible bathrooms in the Lower Mainland. If you have a ground level suite and/or are willing to renovate to make the space fully wheelchair accessible, and are interested in becoming a home share provider, please submit your resume along with a cover letter.
