Our customer, a leading 3PL provider, is looking for the outstanding individual that will help then exceed customer expectations. This position is responsible for the efficient and effective dispatch of city and long haul Drivers to ensure maximum profitability while providing exceptional client service.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Dispatch City and long haul Drivers to ensure maximum profitability.
Rebuild loads as required due to rail/truck delays or unexpected Driver absences.
Reduce expenses and vehicle movement costs.
Maintain an excellent working relationship with customers, Drivers and Owner Operators. Monitor the effectiveness of these relationships and develop programs/processes to improve them.
Plan staff scheduling around work volumes, vacations and absences.
Review and analyze changes in customer needs and make necessary adjustments.
Liaise with CN/Autoport loading crews.
Improve, research and develop various policies and procedures that ensure sound delivery of customer service and present them to Director.
Alert Claims Department of any potential damages that might result in a claim.
Report any incomplete or missing Driver paperwork, truck maintenance and service requirements to fleet manager.
