RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain current knowledge of financial legislation and industry regulations
• Obtain an in depth knowledge of financial products
• Building client base through networking and prospecting
• Contact clients to arrange meetings
• Conduct in-depth reviews of clients’ financial circumstances, current provision and future goals and concerns
• Analyze information and prepare holistic financial plans best suited to individual clients’ needs
• Complete risk analyses
• Design and implement financial strategies
• Assist clients in making informed decisions
• Provide outstanding client service through regular communication and meetings to update plans as necessary

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• University Degree or College Diploma would be considered an asset
• IFIC, CSC or MFDA licenses would be considered an asset

Our Income Support Program provides stability and enhancements throughout the initial 2 years of being an Investors Group Consultant. As part of this program, new Consultants receive a signing bonus upon being appointed as well as a bonus for obtaining their insurance license.
