Position Summary
Interior Health is seeking an experienced Computed Tomography/Interventional Radiology Technologist to join Shuswap Lake General Hospital's Medical Imaging Department. This position is a relief part time (0.74 FTE) until the return of incumbent.
This position will work rotating evenings (4 on, 4 off), with the shift times being 15:30 to 23:30, 12:00 to 20:00, 07:30 to 15:30, 08:30 to 16:30.
What Will You Work On?
Reporting to the Professional Practice Leader, and under the direction of a Radiologist, performs special procedures such as computer tomography (CT), and/or interventional, as designated. Assists the Radiologists during procedure, inputs patient specific data into the Radiology Information System (RIS) PACS and provides direction regarding procedures to student technologists and staff trainees.
As of April 1, 2024 - the new rate schedule for HSP is $38.07 - $47.52

Qualfications
Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program plus successful completion of a recognized program such as Computer Tomography relevant to the designated specialty area.
Two (2) years recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
