Detailed description: 
Product Line Holdings & Logistics Ltd., 2567 - 192nd Street, Surrey, BC. V3Z 3X1, requires permanent, full time Truck Drivers with Class 1A licence (Canada & U.S.), with 1 years experience.
Remuneration: ($22.60 to $27.50 hourly) or Mileage rate (38.5) with service bonuses (4.5), which ever is greater. Paid picks and drops.

Driver will operate a dedicated tractor / trailer unit to inspect, load, transport and unload goods and materials in Canada and the US. Only you will operate your unit.

Essential requirements: You must be able to monitor your unit's performance, mechanical fitness and condition. You must be able to inspect tires, lights, brake adjustments as per DOT requirements. Able to perform small emergency roadside repairs as required. You must be able to do a monthly inspection of the unit, which will include checking for faulty grease fittings. You must have the knowledge and ability to grease your equipment. You must keep your equipment clean. Must be able to use a GPS system, read and comprehend commercial atlases, and be proficient in the use of cell phones in order to communicate with Dispatch. Must be able to maintain all documentation necessary to meet DOT and CSA regulations. This will include, but not exclusive to: logbooks, bills of lading, inspection reports (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), trans-border documentation, etc. Must be able to complete trip sheets, IFTA sheets and maintenance reports.

Additional requirements: Mountain driving expertise. Winter driving expertise. Professional customer service.

Security and Safety requirements: Driver's abstract (N print). Security clearance (Bonded carrier). USA employment drug test.

Essential Skills: Speak, read, write English language. Read, write, and comprehend transportation industry documentation. Must have an understanding of Imperial and Metric systems. Must be able to make decisions using problem solving, critical thinking, job tasking, and organizational ability. Job requires working with others and requires continuous learning.

Additional skills: Must have the ability to cross CANADA/US border and travel for extended periods. Generally, our trips require 10 days to 2 weeks with current CSA regulations.
