Position: Food Service Supervisor
Duration: Permanent Full-Time
Experience: Must have Subway experience
Education: High school or equivalent
Hours: 40 hours/wk
Salary: $12.50/hr; 4% vacation pay will be paid each payday on a bi-weekly basis
Overtime: 1.5 times normal rate after 40 hours per week
Benefits: BC Medical Services Plan premiums payable by employee

Main Duties:
• Exhibit cheerful and helpful behavior while greeting customers and preparing their orders
• Demonstrate a complete understanding of menu items and explains them to customer accurately
• Use Point of Sale system/cash register to record the order and compute the amount of the bill
• Collect payment from customers through cash, debit and credit transactions
• Perform Cash-In Procedure- accounting for all forms of money, bread, etc., during the shift
• Prepare food neatly, according to formula, and in a timely manner
• Check products in sandwich unit area and restocks items to ensure a sufficient supply throughout the shift
• Understand and adhere to proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards during food preparation, service and clean up
• Clean and maintain all areas of the restaurant to promote a clean image
• Understand and adhere to all quality standards, formulas and procedures
• Maintain a professional appearance and grooming standards
• Train new or less experienced Food Counter Attendants in their tasks and responsibilities.
• Practice inventory control standards and inspects equipment and storage facilities to ensure that equipment is in proper working order
• Schedule and supervise staff to assign duties, responsibilities, and work stations in accordance with work requirements
• Perform paperwork duties as needed.
• Resolve complaints regarding food service and handles a variety of situations with different stakeholders such as management, employees, or customers.
