1 South Asian Advertising and Promotions Co-ordinator (NOC 1123) full time, permanent position available at Brar Sweets and Restaurant located at 199 Advance Blvd, L4Z 1S3 Brampton Ontario.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Attend South Asian community events and advertise the restaurant at the events
Community outreach by helping establish connections with a variety of different organizations and communities such as the Punjabi community, Tamil community etc.
Coordinating the production and implementation of advertising and promotional material for internal and external communications, reflecting corporate objectives.
Coordinating the effective dissemination of advertisements in a wide variety of media such as radio, magazine, newspaper, community displays and events, outdoor billboard and transit advertising.
Advise on how to build relationships with the South Asian communities and how can spread the word about the restaurant and business
Coordinating the effective distribution of advertising and promotional material within the GTA (i.e, Mississauga, Brampton), in order to maintain positive community relations.
Advertising the company brand
Discussing with the owners how to better target the South Asian community
Singing at events that are held by the restaurant to advertise to the South Asian community
Discussing and distinguishing appropriate Jungles and Tag lines for the business
Help with in store marketing
Develop and organize workshops, meetings, ceremonies and other events specifically targeted for the South Asian community
Requirements:
Some experience with media
Can communicate in Punjabi and English
Bachelor's Degree
Wage Rate: $33.50
