For decades our client has been a major equipment supplier to restaurants, hotels and other food related establishments. Located in Montreal, near a metro, they are
currently seeking a Bilingual Senior Account Technician to join their dedicated team of 25 employees.
** Main duties shall include: **
• Supervise and overseeing all accounting functions to include: Accounts payable, Accounts receivable, Payroll
• Enter data into General Ledger
• Prepare monthly financial statements and adjustments
• Prepare year files for accountants, including adjusting entries and working paper schedules.
• Liaison with external accountant, government, and union representatives
• Responsible for commodity tax reporting
• Maintain internal control on HR procedures
• Involvement in data processing functions
• Involvement in special projects as requested
• Perpetual inventory Control
* Extensive training shall be provided.
** The successful candidate shall be: **
• Bilingual
• Have a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
• Cegep diploma
• Proficient in EXCEL and SAP would be an asset.
• Team player and dynamic
• Autonomous and compassionate in dealing with fellow colleagues
