ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT FOR OPERATIONS


Our client is an important and well-established contractor in the field of electricity that has been in business for over 50 years. Our client, located in Ville Mont-Royal, is seeking an Administrative Assistant for Operations. The work environment is very respectful, fun and intensely team oriented. There rarely is a need to work overtime. Apart from the responsibilities listed below, the successful hire shall replace the receptionist and be her back up. Replacing the receptionist will take on about 20% of the work day.


RESPONSIBILITIES SHALL INCLUDE:

• Preparing and sending of bids
• Opening of projects ( training provided )
• Answering the team's' telephone calls
• Create from template, thermo and maintenance reports
• Take the minutes of meetings
• HQ/RBQ Permits (training provided)
• Electronic filing
• Replacement at reception


REQUIREMENTS:

• 75% of work day will be in French - must speak and write in French very well
• Must have a strong command of the English language
• Ability to work in a team
• Knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
• Attention to detail
• Experience working in the construction industry would be an asset.
• Experience submitting quotes and purchase orders would be an asset


Our client is closed for 2 weeks in July and 2 weeks December.
