Job Description:
• Instruct apprentices
• Keep maintenance reports and documentation
• Welding experience
• Attach components and adjust new farm equipment
• Perform repair work on agriculture equipment (for example tractors, combines, sprayers)
• Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
• Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
• Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications
• Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
• Service attachments and working tools
• Verify and repair emission control systems
• Repair advanced computer controls such as on Fendt equipment
• Field service
Requirements:
-Education: Completion of secondary school
-Experience: The necessary experience to be eligible for trade certification is required.
- Working experience with Massey Ferguson and Agco is required as the position requires instructing apprentices. This position also deals with highly advanced computer controls such as on Fendt, a commercial brand of Agco
-Handling heavy loads is required
-Valid driver’s license
Salary: $35.00 to $37.00 hourly, 44 Hours per week

Important Information:
Flexibility in schedule is required. Shifts: 8:00am to 5:00pm from Monday to Friday and some Saturdays may be required from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Important: the technician is required to follow a 24-hour on-call work schedule and work after hours when needed.
