Payroll and Accounts Payable Accountant Coast Corporate Office, Vancouver, BC Coast Hotels is a dynamic and growing brand. The Payroll Accountant will provide payroll, accounts payable and clerical support to the accounting function within Corporate Office. Duties and Responsibilities: • Administers the Payroll function at Coast Hotels • Provides back up accounts payable and receivable processing and collection duties • Provides back up credit card reconciliation duties • Provides back up billing, banking and record keeping functions • Other duties as required Qualifications & Skill Requirements: • 3 -5 years' experience in payroll and accounting required. • Clear understanding of general accounting principles and relevant operating policies and procedures required. • Proven knowledge of Payroll functions required. • Experience with Ceridian HPL software required. • Experience with Great Plains Dynamic software preferred. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills required. • Accuracy with attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task essential. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of products required. • Not content with the status quo; driven to create positive change and growth • Open to change, continuous improvement and identifying solutions • Exemplifies Coast's core values and enjoys working in a culture of accountability Coast Hotels offers a variety of benefits, including competitive wages & benefits, employee discounts, training & development, career advancement opportunities and more!
