Position Summary
Invermere District Hospital (IDH) is seeking to expand its Medical Imaging team and is inviting applications from Medical Radiation Technologist (MRTs).
Casual employment means work requirements can vary between Zero and 37.5 hours per week. Work will be available on a short-notice, on-call bases and/or blocks of shifts pre-scheduled to relieve leaves of absences. In addition, this position includes on call after evening and weekend shifts.
Effective April 01, 2024, the hourly wage will be $36.69 to $45.81 per hour.
What Will You Work On?
We provide general x-ray exams to a large seasonal population with both a busy ER and outpatient patient workload. Part of our workload includes long term care clients. We are also responsible for outpatient Cardiac exams which includes ECG's and Holter Monitors.

We are looking for a team player who works well within a multi-disciplinary setting, is organized and has excellent commination skills. The successful applicant will be someone who can work independently and who is comfortable working alone in the department.

Qualfications
Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program.
Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
