Summary of Duties: ? To provide patient care within the scope of practice of your profession; which supports the philosophy of the Nursing Department and meets hospital and College of Nurses standards. ? Collaborates effectively as a member of an interdisciplinary team. ? Active participation in process improvement and educational activities. Qualifications/Skills: ? Current certificate or competence as an R.P.N. with the College of Nurses with Medication Certificate. ? Medical-surgical experience required, preferably in orthopaedic and Complex medical care nursing. ? Excellent Organizational Skills. ? Able to work effectively as a team member in association with the R.N. ? Current BCLS certificate. ? Membership in R.P.N.A.O an asset. ? Physical Assessment Course required. ? Commitment to person centred care concepts principles along with demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team ? Excellent interpersonal and team collaborative skills.
