Main Responsibilities:
• Oversee and improve the company’s food manufacturing process, including but not limited to production, sanitation, quality control, and procurement
• Direct and implement short and long-term goals aimed at operational improvements in areas such as cost control, quality, and new product development by improving operating efficiencies and reducing wastage
• Regularly assess the supplier, manufacturing and distribution network to ensure the network is designed for high-quality service, lowest possible cost and minimal redundancy, to support strong business continuity
• Work with sales and finance teams to continuously improve the demand forecast and production planning process.
• Direct research and development initiatives and work closely with sales team on the commercialization of new products
• Create and modify tools and systems to support process improvement and the changing needs of the business
• Support production and procurement troubleshooting and loss control
• Represent Hung Fung and be the lead contact and a key decision maker in operations related negotiations
• Regularly report to President to review the results and progress towards established goals
• Provide appropriate coordination with other departments of the company when necessary
• Leverage best practices to drive operations and process optimization for business planning and strategy creation
