Legal assistant– legal department

Main functions: 
Primary Job Duties:
● Conduct legal policy research on different business sectors in international trade, with focus in North America and Chinese market, build knowledge-sharing depository for various internal stakeholders and departments
● Review and proofread commercial documents, contracts, agreements, and correspondence to ensure compliance with legal procedures in China and North America
● Liaise with legal service team from different suppliers and vendors in China and North America, coordinate meetings and conferences with local law offices in China and North America to enhance legal partnership
● Schedule in-person and virtual appointments, meetings and conferences among stakeholders
● Set up and maintain filing systems, utilizing knowledge of legal records and procedures and frequently controlling confidential materials and documents
● Manage and distribute incoming documents, mails and other material and co-ordinate the flow of legal related information, may perform other general office work as required

● Graduated in bachelor’s degree in business law, familiar with the legal systems in China and North America will be an asset

Working experience
Minimum experience required: 
2 years
Qualifications required: 
● Minimum 2 years of business law experience, previous experience in international trade law is required
● Previous experience in dealing with different home theater products supplier and vendors will be an asset
● Ability to deal with the confidential or sensitive firm or client data
● Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly develop business relationships in legal industry
● Excellent oral and written communication, accurate and pay attention to details
● Client focus, able to work independently as well as in a team environment
● Ability to navigate and collaborate with stakeholders from different cultural backgrounds
