Our valued Public sector client is in need of a Senior Project Manager to lead an email migration project from Outlook to M365.

- implementing best practices for IT service management;
- installing and configuring the latest Jira ticketing system
- documenting the series of OCIO services
- transforming collaboration, knowledge sharing, and information management practices;
- providing new tools to enable the workforce to adopt and benefit from cloud services;
- improving our network infrastructure and telecommunications; and
- enabling a mobile workforce;
Our Candidate will have the following experience:
- 15 years experience as a Project Manager with 5 of those years working with federal government departments, agencies, or Crown Corporations
- At least 2 data centre migration project completed within the last 5 years for migrating data centre from one physical location to another within Canada for the federal government
- At least 1 project involving successful completion of an email migration from Outlook to M365
- At least 1 project of experience involving negotiating with 3rd party vendors or service providers for project deliverables
- 8 years of experience developing project artefacts including Project Charters, budgets and schedules
- 8 years of experience analyzing and mitigating project risks for IT- related projects
- 8 years of experience providing project status reports to steering committees
- 1 project working on a medium-scale hardware and software transition project to geographically dispersed locations
- medium-scale is defined as having a project value of $3M or greater and involving transitioning a minimum of 3000 Desktops
- 1 project of experience working on a server transition/upgrade project involving over 350 geographically dispersed servers
