As a Sales Barista and Ambassador, you will be friendly, reliable, love to take initiative, and enjoy working independently and as part of a team.

Duties & Responsibilities
1) Sales Barista:
• Greet and interact with all customers. Prepare beverages and sell coffee, tea, baked goods and sandwiches.
• Maintain product knowledge on current offerings and confidently and accurately communicate product information to customers. Respond to questions, orders, and concerns.
• Clean all necessary equipment, showcases, washrooms, in your assigned shift.
• Contributes to store profitability by following cash handling and point of sale policies and procedures.
• Offer relevant, well-thought out ideas and suggestions for improving store operations.
• Other duties as assigned.

2) Sales Ambassador
• Represent Swiss Bakery in greeting and interacting with customers to introduce products and encourage product sampling
• Maintain product knowledge on demo products to be able to confidently communicate product information to customers.

Detailed description: 
We are looking 14 – 21 hours a week.

Working in the retail store, you will support all sales efforts through outstanding customer service and a commitment to quality in all of Swiss Bakery's goods. As well,
as being an Ambassador for Swiss Bakery, you will showcase our products through sampling and sales in various locations around lower mainland.

We are open from Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m, thus you must be available to work during the day

• High School Diploma and some post-secondary education.
• Food Safe Certification.

Working experience
Minimum experience required: 
1 year
Qualifications required: 
• Previous experience in a customer service discipline.
• Good listening and oral communication skills.
• Some coffee experience preferred.
• Ability to multi-task, and work in a fast paced environment is essential.
• Ability to read and speak English proficiently
• Ability to maintain a pleasant disposition and sense of urgency with helping customers.
• Demonstrate a passion for coffee and tea.
• Capability to interface and maintain effective relationships with co-workers and customers.
• Logical and methodological approach to problem solving.
• Flexible, with the ability to multi-task in a highly demanding, stressful environment.
• Ability to cooperate successfully as a member of a team.
• Ability to use available resources to answer questions.
• Cash handling skills.

Physical Demands
• The employee frequently is required to stand, walk; use hands to handle or feel; reach
