Heavy Equipment Technician - Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic
SUMMARY We are hiring a skilled technician, adept at performing a full range of equipment repairs on light construction equipment. This role reports to the Regional Manager, and is responsible for repairs and maintenance on all equipment at an assigned group of stores in the region. The technician is tasked with ensuring that all equipment is either rental-ready, or is being addressed in order to return it to rental-ready status. May also perform preventive maintenance, equipment inspections, aerial equipment inspections, and delivery of equipment to customers or store locations. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ? Responsible for maintaining a fleet of rental equipment at an assigned set of store locations. ? Performs all types of repairs and maintenance on THD Rental equipment fleet. ? Addresses all components of the machine, including gas and diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, fuel systems, and brake systems. ? Diagnoses problems with equipment to determine needed repairs, and performs repairs in order to return equipment to rental ready status. ? Accomplishes the more challenging diagnostic and repair work for the field technician team. ? Makes daily review of Down Equipment Report and communicates with Regional Manager to prioritize repairs and service calls. ? Provides leadership within the area ? Procures parts needed for repairs in order to facilitate prompt repair of equipment. ? Maintains accurate parts inventory in vehicle or shop location. ? Communicates with other technicians, store associates, and customers in order to fully understand the mechanical problems being reported. ? Performs testing of equipment to validate that issues have been corrected. ? Utilizes company technology platform to document all work performed on equipment, including labor and parts. ? Inspects equipment for proper security, ensuring that all trailer and equipment locks are in place. ? Trains Field and Rental Center associates in the proper operation of the equipment and large equipment operating procedures. ? Interfaces with Home Depot managers (Tool Rental, Pro Desk, Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, etc.) to explain the large equipment program and address specific concerns. ? Assists with equipment deliveries and pick-ups as required. ? Deploys new equipment to store locations, including performing PDIs, delivering to the store, and training store associates on operation of the equipment. ? Performs work at store locations, company shop locations, and job sites. ? Will be required to be on call with rotating schedule including nights and weekends. ? Performs other duties assigned by the Regional Rental Manager or authorized personnel. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS Required ? High School Diploma, GED, Technical or Trade School - or equivalent experience ? Trade certification as a Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician ? 5+ years' experience servicing construction equipment ? Ability to diagnose and complete advanced mechanical repairs, including engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems ? Ability to troubleshoot and make minor mechanical repairs to equipment ? Ability to read and understand technical repair and parts manuals for equipment, including mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and other components ? Familiarity with construction field environment (landscape, home building, remodeling, etc.) ? Light construction equipment maintenance knowledge and/or skills including small engines and hydraulics ? Ability to conduct preventive maintenance on equipment ? Valid driver's license ? Nous sommes actuellement à la recherche d'un(e) conseiller(ère) en architecture d'infrastructure infonuagique qui se joindra à notre équipe de Projet Cirrus! Rôle La personne occupant ce poste a pour rôle de développer le volet technologique de Projet Cirrus, en ce qui a trait à son offre IaaS et de plateforme infonuagique. Elle s'appuie sur ses connaissances technologiques et agit à titre d'expert(e) technologique pour concevoir, planifier et implanter lesdites technologies en travaillant en étroite collaboration avec les administrateurs et les administratrices de systèmes infonuagiques. Elle agit aussi à titre de référence et de mentor(e) dans l'équipe afin d'accompagner les techniciens ou techniciennes dans les déploiements. Responsabilités Architectures et support à l'implantation de notre offre d'infonuagique Projet Cirrus Définir les architectures derrière les composantes de notre offre IaaS en collaboration avec l'équipe Projet Cirrus ; Participer à des ateliers et exercices de conception ( POC : preuve de concept ) ; Identifier et définir les requis liés à la virtualisation pour supporter notre offre IaaS & PaaS ; Analyser et documenter le positionnement stratégique de notre offre IaaS dans le marché ; Participer à la livraison des systèmes technologiques pour qu'ils répondent à nos standards de qualité ; Suivre l'évolution des projets et anticiper les problématiques et risques pouvant nuire à une implantation réussie ; Encadrer le travail du technicien ou administrateur lors des implantations ; Assurer la veille technologique dans son champ d'expertise. Contribuer au développeur technologique de Projet Cirrus et de l'offre de services liée à l'infonuagique Travailler étroitement avec l'équipe d'architecture de Projet Cirrus pour veiller à ce que l'architecture des systèmes soit facile à entretenir, durable et bien documentée ; Optimiser les processus et les outils utilisés lors des déploiements ; Participer à la création de documentation utile aux déploiements des solutions infonuagiques (documentation des fonctionnalités) et ce, en collaboration avec l'équipe de solution infonuagique ; S'assurer de rencontrer les indicateurs de performance permettant de mesurer l'efficacité des implantations et maintenir les statistiques à jour ; Anticiper les enjeux technologiques pouvant influencer l'expérience utilisateur ou les délais de mise en Ã..."uvre du Projet Cirrus ou ses composantes et identifier des pistes de solutions pour les contrer ; En étroite collaboration avec son gestionnaire et avec l'équipe d'architecture, formuler des recommandations pour les projets d'envergure ; Conseiller et supporter les spécialistes prévente en participant à des appels avec des clients. Compétences requises Avoir un esprit analytique et aimer résoudre des problématiques ; Être structuré et avoir un haut niveau de rigueur ; Être minutieux et attentif aux détails ; Être en mesure de voir un projet dans son ensemble et le décortiquer en étapes et jalons ; Être un excellent communicateur ; Être en mesure de coordonner un plan d'action ; Être bilingue Anglais/Français ; Porter une grande attention au service à la clientèle et l'expérience utilisateur. Exigences et qualifications Détenir une expertise technique de pointe en virtualisation et infonuagique ; Posséder un minimum de 10 ans d'expérience dans un environnement « as-a-Service » d'envergure ; Posséder un minimum de 5 ans à titre d'architecte d'infrastructure ; Certifications (VMware, Microsoft, Palo Alto) un atout ; Expérience VMware NSX, VMware Horizon DaaS ; Expérience de travail dans un environnement DevOps ; Avoir complété une formation universitaire en informatique ou un cumul de formation équivalente ; Avoir une très bonne orientation client et être axé sur l'optimisation des processus d'affaires ; Toute autre expérience jugée équivalente. |

CE QUI T'ATTEND Tu souhaites intégrer une équipe dévouée qui travaille à développer les meilleurs produits sur le marché ? Nous recherchons une personne qui aura le rôle de gérer plusieurs projets d'envergures afin de soutenir notre croissance pour les secteurs agricoles, industriels et récréatifs. Tu auras à ta charge la gestion des budgets, des délais, de la planification globale du projet et de son succès le tout en mobilisant les bonnes ressources techniques pour atteindre ton but. En résumé, voici ce que tu feras de ton temps : Gérer le projet de développement de nouveaux produits, de la soumission initiale jusqu'à la mise en production en suivant le processus de développement de produits (PDP) Travailler en étroite collaboration avec tous les départements de l'entreprise et agir à titre de chef d'orchestre pour assurer un travail efficace de chacun Créer et suivre la planification générale du projet tout en gérant les imprévus et les contraintes afin de ne pas impacter les dates butoirs importantes; Assurer le suivi du budget Animer les rencontres multi-départementales et s'assurer que chaque collaborateur soit engagé Trouver des solutions lors des différents enjeux qui seront rencontrés au cours du projet Présenter des rapports d'avancement des projets au comité de direction Agir en tant que point de contact général pour les clients lors du projet de développement |
