Our client, a leading wealth management firm, is searching for an experienced Licensed Investment Assistant to join one of their distinguished top producing advisor teams. This role directly supports the success and growth of the Investment Advisor by organizing and monitoring accounts, placing trades, preparing required documentation in line with compliance requirements and maintaining an effective and efficient work environment.

The incumbent must be detail oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a team. Superior organization ability is required as additional responsibilities include maintaining a client database, reviewing transactions and providing client service through taking and placing trade orders as required. A personable approach and demonstrated ability to build rapport and strong client relationships is essential.

The successful candidate will create a client focused experience with strong verbal and written communication skills that capture the professional presence, and engaging culture of our client’s organization.

Education & Experience Requirements:
• Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct & Practices Handbook Course (CPH) in addition to the maintenance of licensing through CE credits is required.
• A minimum (3) three years in the financial industry is required.
• Must have strong numeric aptitude (financial math).
• Experience with marketing, event planning or life insurance products are considered an asset.
• Post-Secondary Education and is considered a strong asset.
