Objectives of the Position :
1. To be the primary contact with a client upon the signature of a project for the installation, the follow-up and the optimization of a Demtroys system. At the start of employment, practical training is available as a pairing for the project management process.
2. To participate in developing new guidelines for products and markets (Electrical Engineering).
Main Tasks – Project Management :
• Validate the technical specifications / work orders from customers;
• Coordinate / participate in the production and configuration of the customer’s equipment and control system and, if applicable, the RF network configuration;
• Implement and supervise the installation, commissioning and operation of the equipment: Coordinate / prepare installations for clients including supplier management, Manage the clients and suppliers (electricians, heating technicians…) during the installations. If applicable, participate in the installation, Inspect the installation of equipment in accordance with specifications and turn on the control system;
• Train the users (landlords, janitors…) for the configuration of their system and the service calls management;
• Respond to and follow up technical service calls from the clients;
• Document / complete client file after installation and service calls;
• Please note that travels are occasional to frequent (about 25% annually) and required.
Main Tasks – Electrical Engineering:
• Based on the corporate vision and technology watch, participate in the technological planning of the Demtroys solutions
• (Depending on experience), set or contribute to the technological development, mainly for the electric/electronic aspects;
• Develop / improve the projects plan based on the objectives (schedule, involved persons...);
• Assess the technical issues, suggest possible solutions and make comparative analysises;
• Participate in the development of test plans, integrate technology and implement the tests in a real environment;
• Develop prototypes and validate changes and performance with real environment tests;
• Participate in the implementation and underlying tasks;
• If applicable, meet technical representatives.
