Our client is a leader in its industry, with its products being sold all over North America. They are seeking a Bilingual Benefits Specialist to assist the Payroll Manager to administer and manage group benefits of well over 900 employees.


*** Main Responsibilities : ***

• TIME and ATTENDANCE
: Creating new employee profiles
: Maintaining records of employee work attendance, including overtime, corrections by department supervisors, bereavement leave, CSST, tracking all leave of absences such as maternity leave, sick leave, etc.
: Create weekly pay reports, exporting information to Excel
: Maintain payroll information entering all corrections and advice payroll personnel of changes.

• GROUP INSURANCE
: Enter data for new hires, changes for current employees and terminated employees.
: Advise payroll personnel of any changes to deductions or entitlements
: Track all absences, completing insurance forms, track premiums, send communiqués to employees regarding and changes
: Advise payroll when ROE is required
: Verify billing to insurance provider, reconciling differences

• POINT OF CONTACT
: Be the point of contact for all employees regarding any questions they have in terms of their pay, benefits entitlement, maternity and paternity leaves etc
: Provide Benefits booklet and administer any changes


*** Requirements: ***

• Must have experience with administering and maintaining WORK BENEFITS information
• Must have experience in maintaining WORK ATTENDANCE data
• Proficient in Time and Attendance software and Excel
• Familiar with ACCPAC
• Must be bilingual able to service employees in both French and English
• Patient and take pleasure in servicing employees with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Assure discretion at all times
