Why Join Homes First? Our organization operates long-term supportive housing sites, large-scale emergency shelters, and essential support services all across the Greater Toronto Area. Over the last 40 years, the organization has provided homes and essential support services to more than 1,600 seniors, families, and single adults. Our valued public sector client requires Reliability Cleared Bilingual Senior Tester to assist with the IT requirements analysis, and testing efforts, Department-wide in a Power Platform context. Women and Gender Equality Canada (WAGE) will be building modern applications, in the next few years.The department recently underwent a requirement analysis to map out the departmental needs, processes and issues as well as inform the department of the technical limitations of the Treasury Board Secretariat (TBS) approved solution, Microsoft Power Platform. Following this initial analysis, WAGE now requires a Tester to identify the departmental needs and processes-related requirements, inform the department of the technical limitations of the Treasury Board Secretariat approved solution, Power Platform, PowerApps and associated considerations and specifications Responsibilities: Provide professional guidance to members of the Modernization team to help them develop their knowledge and capacity in regard to the successful testing implementation and management of the To-Be models and processes Tester leading test planning and coordination tasks; Supervise testing in accordance with the plan; Evaluate existing IT procedures and methods, Department- wide; Create and update a progress report for PowerApps Demonstrate test results using unit tests built with Microsoft Visual Studio Perform the following testing methodologies: Iterative Agile and Waterfall, their planning, executing and evaluating the outcomes achieved Perform test execution for the development, test and production environments and Establish acceptance test criteria with internal clients, such as with the Modernization Team Must Haves: - Reliability Level 1 Federal Clearance - 10+ years as a Tester, leading test planning and coordination and supervise testing in accordance with the plan - 10+ years experience managing walkthroughs and reviews related to testing and implementation readiness; testing multi-operating system environments - 8+ years of experience managing and monitor test plans for all levels of testing, enterprise-wide Nice to Haves: - Bilingual Certificate - Federal Government Project Experience in the last 5 years Apply |
