Lab Assistant
Description Position at Dynacare Dynacare is currently looking to hire a Laboratory Assistant to work in our Laboratory and Health Services Center (LHSC) in Midland, Ontario. This is a Permanent Part time position working Monday to Friday. Dynacare offers day shifts, benefits, paid vacation, set work schedules and a great work life balance. Job Summary As Laboratory Assistant, you will be responsible for obtaining quality blood samples and other specimens from patients, as well as conducting other patient tests, all in keeping with Dynacare's mission and values. ONxpress Transportation Partners (ONxpress) were chosen by Metrolinx and Infrastructure Ontario (IO) to enter the Development Phase of the On-Corridor Works project the largest project in Metrolinxs GO Rail Expansion program. Unprecedented in its scale and complexity, this multi-billion-dollar capital program will transform the GO regional rail network with electrification, more frequent service, shorter journey times and a more modernized system for the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Region. What youll do here: Provide administrative, design, editing, technical, estimating, and priority direction to staff and personnel assigned to individual projects, through all project stages. Perform full project life-cycle project management role and responsibilities within a collaborative minded project team on a complex, dynamic, and high-risk project. Ensure that only approved work scope is delivered by the project and that the project lifecycle is completed on-time and within budget. What You Bring to the Team: Completion of a degree in Engineering or a related discipline or a combination of education, training and experience deemed equivalent. Demonstrated 5 years of experience in managing projects and stakeholders, preferably involving planning, design, construction, and commissioning of transit stations, facilities, heavy Railway infrastructure including electric traction, bridges, structures, and related works. Registration as a Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario is an asset. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an asset. Project management experience to manage assigned multi-disciplinary projects of high value and complexity and supervise staff engaged in all stages of project management from start to close-out. Knowledge of construction standards and procedures applicable to an operating Railway environment.
