Detailed description:
Job Description:
Provide leadership and support the sales culture at Sunny Shutter, with a specific focus on the show.
Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments to ensure the overall development of the company
Plan, guide, evaluate the company’s existing sales model, and determine the future wholesale and retail operations
Keep up with the current Canada retail industry trends, study market research to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes, and effect of competitors' operations on sales
Manage costs and meet all operational and financial metrics
Formulate and approve promotional campaigns especially the vary trade show in both Canada and United State
Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions
Provide team leadership through hiring, on boarding, learning & development, and coaching
Lead sourcing activities for new product lines and share information with management
Coordinate with overseas factories in India and China and placing purchase orders, tracking production which includes sample approval, pre-production, and TOP samples
Coordinate with shipping companies to arrange containers to the factories both in India & China for swift movements of the purchase orders
Qualifications and Skills:
Successful completion of secondary school is required
Post-secondary education in business administration or other fields related is preferred
Over 8 years trade show wholesale experience required
Knowledgeable of home textiles /hard goods testing protocols & requirements is a must
Manage the Organic certification/Oeko tex certification process is a must
Knowledgeable of BSCI, SEDEX, CTPAT, etc. certification is a plus
Understanding of “Sustainability”, is the key for future business
Understand QC reports and recognizing problems and coming up with solutions
English is a must
Strong decision-making skills
