Main functions: 

We are currently seeking an Environment Technician to join our team in Montreal.

As a multidisciplinary environmental engineering consulting firm established since 2009, we stand out for our comprehensive service offering and distinctive client experience. Our experts support various clients in real estate, finance, insurance, and petroleum, industrial, and commercial sectors by providing dedicated assistance in realizing their projects.

Responsibilities of this role include:

  • Implementing and supervising environmental characterization work (sampling of soils, groundwater, and/or residual materials).
  • Supervising environmental remediation work.
  • Supervising and/or assisting the foreman during dismantling of petroleum equipment.
  • Collaborating with and overseeing subcontractors' work and conducting site monitoring.
  • Conducting groundwater or effluent quality monitoring campaigns.
  • Conducting survey work (chaining, leveling), as needed.
  • Writing borehole reports, daily reports, or any other field documents for project managers.
  • Participating in geological work (geotechnical, material control).

In this role, you will have the opportunity to showcase your strengths, including:

  • College or university degree in environmental science, geology, civil engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the role.
  • Relevant experience in environmental sampling.
  • ASP Construction card.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license for travel to clients and our various business locations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Great adaptability to different situations.
  • Enjoy finding innovative and practical solutions to problems.
  • Team spirit and transparency.
  • Rigor, structure, and high level of autonomy.
  • Attention to health and safety.
