The role will also provide some support to the Uxbridge Med/Surg inpatient unit for patients with respiratory care needs and in a critical care response capacity in a deteriorating patient scenario. Requirements include: Current registration with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario and preferred membership to the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists and/or the Respiratory Therapy Society of Ontario Minimum 1 year of RRT work experience in acute care Preference given to applicants holding recent experience and demonstrated competency in ICU and ED and who have demonstrated the ability to assess the patients response to care, respond appropriately, problem solve and set priorities Current BCLS, ACLS and NRP is mandatory; current PALS is preferred Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills Demonstrates initiative and the ability to function both independently and as a multidisciplinary team member in a fast-paced, demanding environment. Qualifications - Correspondre à l'un des quatre (4) profils suivants : Profil 1 : Être titulaire d'un des diplômes d'études professionnelles (DEP) suivants : Assistance aux bénéficiaires en établissement de santé (750 heures) Assistance à la personne en établissement et à domicile (APED) (870 heures) Assistance aux personnes à domicile (975 heures) Profil 2 : Être titulaire d'un diplôme d'études professionnelles (DEP) en santé, assistance et soins infirmiers (SASI) - (1800 heures) Profil 3 : Être titulaire d'un diplôme d'études collégiales en soins infirmiers Profil 4 : Être titulaire d'un diplôme d'études de 5e secondaire ou d'une attestation d'équivalence de niveau secondaire (AENS) et avoir une (1) année d'expérience pertinente (1 400 heures) ayant permis d'acquérir une discipline personnelle, des notions générales de psychologie et des aptitudes sur le plan des relations humaines *Les cours suivis dans les centres de formation privés ne sont pas reconnus.
